Dallesport WWTP
0.4 MGD Activated Sludge Process - Dallesport, WA
PROBLEMS
Algae growth in launder
Additional labor hours required for manual cleaning
Detrimental effects on effluent quality
SOLUTION & RESULTS
Worked with OEM partner to develop a launder cover system
Turnkey project included the recoating of the mechanism steel and the installation of a new drive unit
Improved effluent quality and elimination of manual cleaning

SOLUTION & RESULTS
Performed equipment inspection and developed a recommendation report with cost estimates
Worked with OEM partner to design a new thickener which included:
Reuse and modification of the existing walkway structure
Improved skimming mechanism
New drive unit with higher torque loading
Load cell-style overload protection
VFD for fine-tuning of rake speed
